Establishing a 15 foot <br />minimum for detached townhomes is comparable to the existing side -yard setbacks for <br />standard single - family lots. <br />It must be noted that detached townhomes will only be permitted in an R -2 district or in <br />the R -1 district as a PUD not exceeding 4 units per acre (as currently stated in the R -1 <br />district regulations), after a rezoning to medium density residential upon adoption of the <br />proposed code.
