Case # 3 <br /> <br /> AUTHORIZE TEMPORARY LEASE AGREEMENT <br />WITH PROPERTY OWNER FOR PARK AND RIDE FACILITY <br />By: James E. Norman, City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The first case discussed a grant agreement with the State of Minnesota and the City of Ramsey <br />for the design plan, construction, and operation of a NORTHSTAR COMMUTER COACH <br />demonstration project Park and Ride facility. The City's obligation is to provide the property for <br />the Park and Ride facility. Staff is in the process of completing negotiation with the property <br />owners of BMA Associates for the property west of Ramsey Boulevard immediately north of the <br />BSMA railroad tracks (map attached). <br /> <br />The City Attorney is drafting language for the lease agreement and will distribute the lease <br />during the special meeting on Monday on August 5, 2002. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Authorize lease agreement between City and BMA Associates for property lease by <br />NORTHSTAR COMMUTER COACH Park and Ride facility. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br /> <br />City Attorney <br />City Engineer <br />City Planner <br /> <br />CC: 08/05/02 <br /> <br /> <br />
