<br />2) Complaint/Problem Solving Committee <br /> <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen suggested, in order to avoid two and three years of dealing with the <br />same complaint/problem, having a Council/staff committee to deal with these kinds of things so <br />we can come back to Council with a recommendation for resolution. <br /> <br />3) Open House, Spring Events and More. . . <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder announced the following: <br /> <br />a) Open house for Landmark Bank which is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., May 8, <br />1997, at their 167th Avenue facility <br />b) Environmental Expo - Saturday, April 26, 1997 - 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. <br />c) Pet Clinic - Saturday, April 26, 1997 - 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (police Garage) <br />d) Recycling Day - Saturday, April 26, 1997 - 8:00 a.m. to Noon (City Hall) <br />e) Joint Meeting w/Andover and Anoka - Tuesday, April 29, 1997, 7:00 p.m. at Andover <br />City Hall <br />f) Becky Weiss Memorial Bike Road-eo - Saturday, May 3, 1997 - 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. <br />at City Hall <br />g) First Quarterly Industrial Business Breakfast - Thursday, May 22, 1997, 7:00 a.m. at <br />Anoka Electric Cooperative <br />h) Open House for Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce on May 8, 1997 <br /> <br />4) Agenda for Joint Meeting <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder disseminated a draft agenda for the joint meeting with Anoka and <br />Andover. <br /> <br />Council suggested that a north/south route discussion be added to the agenda with the thought <br />that perhaps a second meeting should be held with Anoka. <br /> <br />5) Fire in Ramsey <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec commented on the grass fire that took place in Ramsey over the weekend and the <br />good cooperation amongst the neighbors. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
