-98— <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #06- 08 -XXX <br />RESOLUTION'.AUTHORIZING 2006 MIDYEAR BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR THE <br />PURPOSE OF AMENDING THE CITY'S GENERAL FUND BUDGET <br />WHEREAS, during the year 2006, the Ramsey City Council acted on matters impacting <br />revenue and expenditures budgets of the City's General fund for items that were not included in <br />the original budget for December 31, 2006; and <br />WHEREAS, for financial reporting purposes, amendments to the City's General Fund <br />Budget are to be made in the form of a Budget Amendment Resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the due to a significant decrease in budgeted building permit revenue, the <br />City needed to amend their General Fund Expenditures to offset this reduction. <br />WHEREAS, the total amount of General Fund Expenditures for this midyear amendment <br />totaled $946,888. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 22 day of August, 2006. <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />Mayor <br />Resolution #06- 08 -XXX <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
