Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #06- 08 -XXX <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 3 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 02 -34, RAMSEY MUNICIPAL PARKING FACILITY <br />WHEREAS, the Facilities Committee has authority to approve change orders in <br />excess of $10,000 and less than $25,000 with City Council ratification; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Administrator and Assistant Public Works Director have the authority to <br />approve change orders of up to $10,000 with City Council ratification; and <br />WHEREAS, the approved Contract allows for a 2% construction contingency of $145,000; and <br />WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 was approved by the City Council on October 11, 2005; and <br />WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 was approved by the City Council on May 23, 2006; and <br />WHEREAS, the following change orders have been requested and approved by the City <br />Administrator and Public Works Director and need City Council ratification; <br />1. Finish modifications - $7,025 <br />2. Alternate mounting of Stair D Light fixtures - $728 <br />3. Generator Fence - $2,676 <br />4. Window Mullions - $3,838 <br />5. Caulking at horizontal Precast Caps — $2,123 <br />6. Adding cages to fire alarm devices.- $839 <br />7. Electrical Work for Security system - $931 <br />8. Concrete under stairs - $7,806 <br />9. Working platform for elevators - $1,990 <br />10. Security Contract over allowance - $447 <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1.
