Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #06 -08 -VCX <br />RESOLUTION #06- 08 -XXX <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />AIIJ <br />etese. <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 3 PARTIAL PAYMENT TO PARK CONSTRUCTION <br />FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #05 -20 RAMSEY BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, on January 24, 2006, City Council adopted Resolution #06 -01 -035 <br />approving the plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Improvement Project #05 -20, <br />bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law; and <br />WHEREAS, on April 11 2006, City Council adopted Resolution #06 -04 -118 awarding <br />the contract to Park Construction: <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the <br />completed work and recommends 1st partial payment to Park Construction in the amount of <br />$279,512.73. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the <br />completed work and recommends 2nd partial payment to Park Construction in the amount of <br />$472,494.13. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the <br />completed work and recommends 3rd partial payment to Park Construction in the amount of <br />$745,433.39. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Park Construction for <br />Improvement Project #05 -20 in the amount of $745,433.39. <br />That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of August 22, 2006. <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />
