Background on large water billing at 14720 Germanium St NW, Ramsey MN <br />Audrey Smith <br />April 2006 <br />Large usage was discovered when checking Hi/Low usage report from meter <br />reading routes. Customer would bill for 3,389,000 gallons of water. <br />Service order was done by Connexus Energy to verify reading. <br />Informed John Nelson at City of Ramsey, Public Works Department, of high usage <br />City verified reading was correct. <br />Informed Diana Lund at City of Ramsey of high bill going out <br />Letter was sent with bill to customer informing her of high usage and a potential <br />water leak. <br />May 2006 <br />Customer came into Connexus Energy and went to City of Ramsey concerning high <br />bill. <br />Sent Diana Lund screen prints of April billing and readings <br />Sent John Nelson usage history <br />June 25, 2006 <br />Connexus Energy received phone call from Diana Lund requesting reading history <br />for surrounding properties at 14720 Germanium St NW. Customer had been to City <br />Council meeting with meter expert, and they feel the meter problem started in <br />November 2005. If Connexus Energy had not estimated the January billing the <br />problem would have been caught sooner. <br />Numerous accounts were estimated in January 2006 due to weather conditions and <br />e t , first time readin water for meter reading contractor.
