Forward this recommendation to Council.
2/25/97 During the discussion of the Apple Ridge Subdivision, the
following came out: It appears there is a missing link in the
correspondence the City has with regard to the MUSA expansion.
Council directed staff to pick up the entire paper trail from when the
expansion request was submitted, rejected, resubmitted and
approved. The person who requested the information is Mike Nixt,
6010 Radium Circle NW, Ramsey. A question was raised as to
whether or not a property is automatically zoned urban when it
comes into the MUSA or does it have to be rezoned by Council.
The Council directed that Good Value Homes proceed to the
preliminary plat stage with the sketch plan dated "received by City
2-25-97 for Apple Ridge with certain traffic generation and access
issues to be specifically addressed in the submittal plus addressing
everything discussed this evening.

2/25/97 The Finance Committee voted to table action on the CDBG
allocation of$13,520 to the next Finance Committee meeting.

2/11/97 Council adopted the resolution allocating the 1997 CDBG funds
with the exception of the 13,520 for sidewalk retrofits. That should
be left unallocated for the present. It was asked that you send a
letter to the services that we did not allocate funds to expressing our
distress at not being able to fund them. Bring back the 13,520 to be
discussed at the Finance Committee.
