! '

"';:""1:,:,1997

Purpose:

The extra length is necessary to store our 25 foot boat, snowmobiles and riding mower. The boat
will not go into existing garage so is stored outside on driveway, as well as the snowmobiles and
trailer. The proposed garage will have one oversized garage door to accommodate the height of
the boat. We have three vehicles so it makes it tough to store anything very big in the existing
garage (which is a 3 car garage).

The previous owners constructed a fenced-in area that was twice the square feet of the building
we are proposing. The fence, along with a dilapidated dog kennel, were removed because they
were rotting out (the construction of the whole area was poor, and in our opinion, was somewhat
of an eyesore). Also to improve the backyard, we are planning to finish the landscaping by using
keystone blocks for the retaining wall (replacing the railroad ties on the existing retaining wall
that are also rotting out and shifting) and put in new plants and rock. The extension of the
driveway to the proposed garage will be class 5 and trimmed out with treated timbers. Overall,
this should improve the looks of our lot.

3~

+TC3: 333115v01 6/5/97
