<br />", <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97-07-_ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #---- RELATING TO A REQUEST <br />FROM METROPOLITAN VISIONS FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO <br />EXCEED SIGN SIZE RESTRICTIONS IN A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Metropolitan Visions for a <br />conditional use permit to exceed the sign size restrictions at the Ampride facility located on the <br />property generally known as 6360 Hwy. #10 N.W. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />That part of Section 35, Township 32 North, Range 25 West of the 4th Meridian <br />described as follows: Beginning at the point of intersection of the West line of said <br />Section 35 and the south line of the right-of-way of United States Military Highway also <br />known as Highway 10; thence southeasterly along the Southerly line of said highway <br />right-of-way a distance of 244.4 feet; thence Southwesterly at an angle of 90 degrees a <br />distance of 140 feet; thence South 65 degrees 20 minutes East 26.3 feet; thence South <br />parallel with and 189.2 feet East of the West line of said Section 35, a distance of715.9 <br />feet more or less to the Mississippi River; thence Northwesterly along said Mississippi <br />River, a distance of 230.1 feet more or less to the West line of said Section 35; thence <br />North along the West line of said Section 35, a distance of 8174 feet more or less to the <br />point of beginning. <br /> <br />EXCEPT the following three parcels: <br /> <br />That part of Lot 1, Auditor's Subdivision No. 96; Anoka County, Minnesota, described as <br />follows: Commencing at the Northwest comer of said Lot 1; thence South on the West <br />line of said Lot 1 a distance of 230 feet; thence East at right angles to said West line <br />towards a point on the said Easterly line of said Lot 1, said point being 140 feet <br />Southwesterly from Northeast comer of said Lot 1 for a distance of71 feet, more or less, <br />to the Southwest comer of tract of land owned by Lewis Lane; thence Northeasterly in a <br />straight line a distance of 176 feet, more or less to a point on the Northerly line of said <br />Lot 1 said point being 154.4 feet Southeasterly from point of commencement; thence <br />Northwesterly 154.4 feet to place of commencement, <br /> <br />and except <br /> <br />That part of said Lot 1, Auditor's Subdivision No. 96, Anoka County, Minnesota, as <br />follows: Commencing at a point on the southerly right of way line of Trunk Highway <br />No. 10 which point is distant Southeasterly from the intersection of said Southerly right <br />of way line with the West line of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 32, <br />Range 25, 154.4 feet; and proceeding thence Southeasterly on said Southerly line for a <br />distance of 90 feet; and proceeding thence Southwesterly and at right angles to said <br />Southerly line for a distance of 140 feet and proceeding thence West and perpendicular to <br /> <br />J./(p <br />
