<br />Board Member <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97-08- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A VARIANCE TO CONSTRUCT AN <br />ACCESSORY STRUCTURE NEARER THE FRONT PROPERTY LINE THAN THE <br />PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE AND DECLARING TERMS OF SAME <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Roland Ring-Jarvi (permittee) has properly applied for a variance from <br />Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code to construct an accessory structure nearer the front <br />property line than the principal structure on the property generally known as 14260 Bowers <br />Drive NW and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 5, Block 1, Bower's Mississippi Acres 3rd Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(Subject Property). <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the Board of Adjustment conducted a public hearing on August 5, <br />1997, pursuant to Section 9.03.05 ofthe Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That based on Findings of Fact # , a variance to construct a 24'x35' accessory <br />structure nearer the front property line than the principal structure on the Subject Property is <br />hereby granted. <br /> <br />2. That the accessory structure constructed on the Subject Property shall not be located any <br />closer than 145 feet from the front property line and no closer to the Ordinary High Water <br />mark of the Mississippi River than the principal structure. <br /> <br />3. That the side walls of the accessory structure shall be constructed of materials similar in <br />appearance to that ofthe principal structure on the Subject Property. <br /> <br />4. That no other structures or additions shall be constructed in the reduced front yard setback <br />unless the property owner applies for and is granted a variance for same. <br /> <br />5. That the property owner shall be responsible for all costs incurred in administering and <br />enforcing this variance. <br /> <br />6. That the Permittee shall obtain all necessary permits prior to commencing any construction of <br />the accessory structure. <br /> <br />7. That the accessory structure shall be used for storage of personal property and that no <br />commercial activity of any type shall be permitted in said structure. <br /> <br />(r <br />
