<br />The buildibg "Gurrently has an access on Bunker Lake Blvd that will be reoriented slightly as part <br />of the expansion. Because Bunker Lake Blvd is a County Road, Anoka County was notified of <br />the site plan submittal. <br /> <br />The existing buildjng material consists of rockface block. The expansion is proposed to be <br />painted block to match the existing building. Painted block is not typically permitted in the E-l <br />District but City Code does allow the City Council to permit other materials. Staff has asked the <br />applicant to clarify the material proposed for the expansion. <br /> <br />The grading and drainage plan has been reviewed by the Engineering Department, and some <br />revisions are required before the plan can proceed to the City Council. The landscaping plan is <br />generally acceptable with a few minor changes, as noted in the City Staff Review Letter. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The site plan generally complies with City Code, with the exception ofthe rear yard setback. The <br />applicant intends to apply for a variance to this requirement. While the variance request itself is <br />not. before the Board of Adjustment at this time, variances have been granted in the past on <br />similarly-shaped lots with a large amount of lot frontage and narrow depth.
