A management <br />exclusivity agreement is being negotiated; this process should take up to 45 days. The Public <br />Purpose hearing for the condemnations is scheduled for August 28th. <br /> <br />MEMBER INPUT <br /> <br />Member Kiefer inquired about the status of a Highway 10 task force that had been recommended <br />by the EDA. Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan replied the topic was discussed at a <br />Council work session, and he did not receive any direction following that meeting. <br />Councilmember Strommen indicated the discussion at the Council work session was regarding <br />the need to consider the image for Highway 10. Chairperson Riley stressed that the businesses <br />should be brought into this discussion as soon as possible. Economic Development Coordinator <br />Sullivan distributed the Highway 10 Corridor Concept Plan that was discussed at a previous <br />EDA meeting. <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan asked whether a Business Network Meeting <br />should be scheduled in November. <br /> <br />Consensus of the EDA was to direct staff to schedule the next Business Network meeting in <br />February. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />Motion by Member Kiefer, seconded by Member Strommen, to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. V oting Yes: Chairperson Riley, Members Kiefer, Strommen, Schindel, and <br />Steffen. Voting No: None.
