We are recommending that <br />the formal adoption occur at the regular City Council meeting on Tuesday, December 12,2006. <br /> <br />The public hearing dates must be certified to Anoka County by Friday, September 15, 2006; <br />therefore, the City Council must make a decision as to the dates selected for the 2007 public <br />hearing(s) at tonights meeting. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends Council approval of the City of Ramsey's payable 2007 proposed tax levy in <br />the amount of $9,089,158 and to schedule the City of Ramsey's initial budget public hearing on <br />Monday, December 4, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. and a reconvene date (if necessary) on Monday, <br />December 11,2006 at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Motion to recommend Council adopt Resolution #06-09- XX Approving the Proposed Maximum <br />2006, Payable 2007, Tax Levy. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br />City Administrator <br />Finance Officer <br /> <br />FC: 09/11/06 <br />
