Council Action: <br />and <br />CC: 09/11/06 <br />LIONS APPLICATION FOR A ONE -DAY 3.2 BEER LICENSE <br />By: Jo Thieling, City Clerk <br />Background: <br />The Ramsey Lions have applied for a one -day, 3.2 beer licenses, for a one -day event — Happy <br />Days, the City of Ramsey's community celebration. The sales will take place on the new <br />Ramsey Municipal Center campus. The celebration is scheduled for Saturday, September 16, <br />2006. The Lions have provided the necessary documents required. Under City Code, it is a <br />permissible activity to grant a 3.2 beer license to the Ramsey Lions Club. <br />Motion to approve /not approve application for the Ramsey Lions Club for a one -day, 3.2 beer <br />licenses for Happy Days, the City of Ramsey community celebration to be held on Saturday, <br />September 16, 2005. The license is for the new Ramsey Municipal Center campus. <br />Motion to waive /not waive the $50 temporary 3.2 beer license fee. <br />As has been done in the past, City staff is requesting Council waive the $50 license fee.
