No. 23-16, 9-12-2) <br />23 DIVISION 4. PENALTIES <br />24 Sec. 26-655. License denial, suspension, or revocation. <br />25 (a) Grounds for denial, suspension or revocation. The city administrator may temporarily suspend, <br />26 deny or not renew a license and the city council may revoke or suspend a license for any of the <br />27 following reasons that shall also constitute a violation of this chapter: <br />28 (1) The property does not conform to City of Ramsey Zoning Code; <br />29 (2) The property does not comply with a health, building, maintenance, or other provisions of the <br />30 City Code or state law; <br />31 (3) The licensee has failed to pay the license fee, inspection fees, the investigation fee, or a fine <br />32 that has been imposed; <br />33 (4) The licensee has made fraudulent statements, misrepresentations, or false statements in the <br />34 application or investigation or in any information required by this chapter; <br />35 (5) Conviction of a background check crime as defined in Minn. Stats. § 299C.67, subd.2, as may <br />36 be amended from time to time; or any crime related to the business licensed and failure to <br />37 show, by competent evidence, rehabilitation and present fitness to perform the duties of the <br />38 business; <br />39 (6) Operating or allowing the rental property to be used in such a manner as to constitute a breach <br />40 of the peace, a menace to the health, safety, and welfare of the public, or a disturbance of the <br />41 peace or comfort of the residents of the city, upon recommendation of the chief of police; <br />
