All references to the post -employment healthcare savings plan are contingent upon the <br />plan design in place at the time of disbursement. <br />6.3 Holidays <br />The City of Ramsey recognizes thirteen (13) holidays for non -union employees. Regular <br />employees are eligible for holiday pay, provided they work the day preceding and the day <br />following the holiday (unless the days off were previously approved by the supervisor). Regular <br />employees scheduled to work the holiday will receive another day off with pay. <br />Paid holidays include: <br />1. New Year's Day <br />2. Martin L King Day <br />3. President's Day <br />4. Memorial Day <br />5. Juneteenth <br />6. Independence Day <br />7. Labor Day <br />8. Veteran's Day <br />9. Thanksgiving Day <br />10. Friday after Thanksgiving Day <br />11. Christmas Eve <br />12. Christmas Day <br />13. *Eight Hour Floating Holiday <br />January 1st <br />3rd Monday in January <br />3rd Monday in February <br />Last Monday in May <br />June 19th <br />July 4th <br />1st Monday in September <br />November 11th <br />4th Thursday in November <br />(Non -union, AFSCME and LELS Captains only) <br />December 24th <br />December 25th <br />To be used Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 <br />All employees in full-time regular positions are entitled to time off with full pay on designated <br />holidays. The City shall be closed for business on these holidays, though employees may be <br />required to work due to the nature of their duties or other conditions. <br />Regular part-time employees are eligible for paid holidays in proportion of what full-time <br />employees earn, based on the hours worked during the pay period in which the holiday occurs. If <br />a holiday falls on a non-scheduled workday for a part-time employee, the employee must take <br />the paid holiday within the same period. <br />Employees may be required to work on paid holidays when the nature of their duties or other <br />conditions. Non-exempt, non -union employees required to work on a holiday shall receive their <br />full pay for the holiday, as well as a minimum of two hours pay at a rate of 1.5 times the <br />employee's base hourly pay rate for the time worked on such holiday. All holidays specified will <br />be paid in dollars or as earned compensatory time off. <br />Duty Crew Firefighters assigned to the Duty Crew schedule on a holiday shall be paid at time <br />and a half for holiday hours worked. <br />301 <br />
