This unit is also equipped to function as a mobile command post during emergency <br />incidents. The vehicle will be 7 years old at the time of replacement. The Fire Department attempts to keep the Fire Chief vehicle on a 5-year replacement cycle for the purpose of maintaining a reliable piece of equipment and <br />limiting repair costs.
