<br />Justification
<br />Previously, pavement marking occurred as part of the seal coat program, at a 7-year cycle. Since the seal coat program has been suspended indefinitely, this project places pavement marking in the 5-year cycle, in-between the
<br />other triggers for pavement markings, overlay and reconstruction projects. Visible pavement marking is a critical component of driver and pedestrian safety.
