6. 6. <br />CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: <br />12/10/2024 <br />Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Enhance City's communication through transparency and accountability. <br />Title <br />Adopt Resolution #24-350 Establishing Precinct and Polling Locations for the 2025 Election Year <br />Purpose/Background: <br />Purpose: To establish polling locations for 2025. <br />Background: State Statute requires both cities and school districts to pass a resolution prior to December 31st of <br />each year setting polling locations for the following year if there are changes from the previous year. Council <br />discussed one proposed polling location change on September 10, 2024, and November 26, 2024. The proposed <br />change is for Ward 2 Precinct 1, which previously was located at Central Park; the new proposed polling place is <br />St. Katharine Drexel Church located at 7633 161st Ave NW.
