We have City Council approval to construct a Burger King restaurant on this site. We have
MN DOT approval for temporary access onto Highway 10 until a service road can be built to
provide ingress and egress for the proposed Burger King and the existing Pet Hospital.

I would like to ask the City to extend city sewer and water to our site. It is my understanding
that the line ends just a few hundred feet from our property. The City Council approved our site
with a septic system included in the design. It certainly is not our preference to have a septic
system. We have one such system currently at our Ham Lake Burger King location. It has been
a nightmare to maintain, and that maintenance has become very costly.

We may have to wait to develop the property in Ramsey until we have City sewer and water.
The reason for this is, if the proposed Ramsey Burger King septic system fails to the extent the
Ham Lake septic system has, we feel the Ramsey location would not have the sales volume to
offset the additional expense. Thus, the wait until the city can extend the line. Obviously, it
would be better for us if this happened sooner rather than later.

Please let me know the possibility of the sewer and water being extended and how soon it could
occur. We have our building plans and are ready to build if this situation could be acted upon
promptly.

Sincerely,

...

Gregory
Partner

GD/at
