In the past, <br />this has created significant controversy with certain residents who are opposed to this <br />type of amendment. The allegation being that Staff has basically "ramrodded" something <br />through without Council authority. I suggest you be very cautious in this regard and at <br />the very least emphasize in your transmittal to the metro council that the proposal has. <br />not had a public hearing held on it nor final City Council approval. <br />
