<br />/- <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has determined that a land use designation of medium density residential is <br />compatible with surrounding land uses. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the request for a land use designation change of <br />the Subject Property from Low Density Residential to Medium Density Residential. <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes City Staff to submit the necessary <br />documentation to Metropolitan Council for an amendment to the 2002 Comprehensive Plan to <br />change the land use designation to medium density residential. <br /> <br />3) That this land use change shall become effective concurrent with the City's receipt of notification <br />of approval from Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Gamec, and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the <br />24th day of June, 2003. <br /> <br />~ ~ <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />UTION #03-06-156 <br />Page 2 of2 <br />
