The <br />amendment proposes a land use change for 1.36 acres located north of Alpine Drive between Sunfish <br />Lake Blvd. to the west and Nowthen Blvd. to the east. The land use designation will change from low <br />density residential to medium density residential to accommodate 4 townhome units. <br /> <br />At its May 24, 2000 regular meeting, the governing body ofthe Council identified certain types oflocal <br />comprehensive plan amendments that may be reviewed by Council staff without further formal review by <br />the governing body of the Council. Council staff applied the plan review waiver criteria established by <br />the Council's governing body and finds that the amendment is in conformance with metropolitan system <br />plans, consistent with the Regional Blueprint, and has no impact on the plans of other units of local <br />government. Therefore, the Council will waive further review and the City may place this amendment <br />into effect. <br /> <br />The amendment, explanatory materials supplied and the information submission form will be appended to <br />the City's Plan in the Council's files.
