Will the proposed amendment require a change in zoning, subdivision, on- <br />site sewer ordinance or other official controls. <br /> <br />No/Not Applicable <br />X Yes, Describe effect <br /> <br />The proposed minor amendment is due to the Metropolitan Council's staff <br />recommendation to have the City review the following 3 areas: <br /> <br />1. The current on-site septic systems inspection policy and program. <br />The City will be developing a program to fulfill the requests that the <br />Metropolitan Council has suggested. This program will be <br />forwarded to the Council staff within the next 9 months and formal <br />implementation will occur during that time period. <br /> <br />2. The City will be reviewing, with the Metropolitan Council staff <br />guidance, the requirements for an acceptable housing strategy <br />designed to fulfil the regional policies for life-cycle and affordable <br />housing within Ramsey and the surrounding communities. <br /> <br />3. The City will work with the Metropolitan Waste Control <br />Commission to update its Tier II Comprehensive Sewer Plan. <br /> <br />v <br />
