I WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has prepared and adopted a Comprehensive Plan as required by the State Land Planning Act; and WHEREAS, the. Comprehensive Plan provides for the extension of sanitary sewers in both the Mississippi River and the Rum River Watersheds with 1990 pro- jected flow of 0.57 million gallons per day; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has received a petition to provide utilities to the area east of Flintwood Hills First Addition and north along the Rum River to 149th Avenue NW; and WHEREAS, the Area petitioned for utilities lies within the proposed 1984, 1986, 1988 and early 1990's development areas of the City; and . WHEREAS,.the existing residents within the developed areas proposed to be provided with utilities in 1984 and 1986 have stated they would like to have utilities delayed. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, r- STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The proposed construction schedule for public utilities shall be amended as shown on revised Map 13A of the Comprehensive Plan contingent upon m etropolitan Council. review and approval. I 2) The City Administrator is directed to forward this resolution along' with all necessary worksheets and Comprehensive Plan revisions required to'amend the proposed construction schedule to the Metropolitan Council.
