4 <br />disposal of sewage where the sanitary sewer systems is available, <br />except for temporary recreation programs or construction <br />projects. <br />The owner of all buildings used for human occupancy, <br />employment, recreation or other purpose where the sanitary <br />sewer system is available shall at his expense install suitable <br />toilet facilities and connect such facilities with the <br />sanitary sewer system. Properties not provided with public <br />sanitary sewer facilities shall comply with all individaul <br />sewage disposal system ordinances. <br />210.0217 Individual Sewage Disposal Systems. All <br />individaul sewage disposal systems shall be constructed and <br />operated in accordance with all relevant State and local laws <br />and regulations. <br />210.0218 Discharge of Prohibited Substances. The <br />folowing may not be discharged into the sanitary sewer system: <br />rainwater from roofs, yards, lawns or sheds, water or other fluid <br />used for the operation of air cooling and air conditioning <br />equipment in plants or units, gasoline, naptha, benzine, <br />kereosene, turpentine, or any other combustible gases or vapors, <br />waters having a PH lower than 5.5 or higher than 9.5 or having <br />any other corrosive property. <br />210.0219 Tampering with Systems Prohibited. <br />210.0220 Opening Hydrants is Prohibited except by <br />authorized City Staff or City Authorization. <br />210.0221 Variances. Variances may be permitted <br />depending on the circumstances and conditions. <br />210.0222 Penalities . Violation of this Ordinance <br />shall be a misdeameanor punishable by a $700.00 fine and /or 90 <br />days imprisonment or both. <br />Section 2. Printed Copy <br />A copy of the entire text of this Ordinance is available for <br />inspection by any person during regular office hours at the <br />office of the City Clerk, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br />Section 3. Effective Date <br />This ordinance becomes effective thirty days after its <br />publication subject, to City Charter Section 5.07. <br />
