<br />ORDINANCE #89-16 <br /> <br />CITY OF RAJotSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 150.01 known as the Sewage Disposal systems <br />Chapter of the City Code.- <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 150.01 of the City Code. <br /> <br />The city of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT <br /> <br />Section 150.01 of the Ramsey city Code pertaining to <br />alternative treatment systems is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Communal Disposal Systems <br /> <br />The use of sewage collection systems with a common disposal <br />site (communal drainfields) is prohibited within the <br />designaced Metropolitan Urban service Area (Referenced as 1990 <br />Urban servi.ce Area Alternative) . <br /> <br />Seepaqe.Pits <br /> <br />The use of seepage pits is prohibited for disposal of sewage <br />effluent. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. REPEAL <br /> <br />Subsections pertaining to communal disposal systems and <br />seepage pits in the Ramsey City Code entitled "Sewage Disposal <br />systems" chapter are hereby repealed only to the extent that <br />they are not applicable to subdivisions, improvement <br />applications, or system repair applications filed with the <br />City for approval after the effective date of this Ordinance. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> <br />This Ordinance becomes effective upon its passage and thirty <br />(30) days after its publication according to law, subject to <br />city Charter provision, Section 5.04. <br /> <br />PASSED by the city Council of the city of Ramsey, Minnesota <br />on the -2.5.:t.h. day of Jul y , 1989. <br /> <br />.~ (?fZ~ <br /> <br />j <br />
