<br />ORDINANCE NO. 89-33 <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />A SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE 89-33 WHICH IS AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER <br />170.0 KNOWN AS THE PLANNING, SUBDIVIDING AND SIGNS CHAPTER. <br /> <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY ORDAINS: <br /> <br />The following official summary of Ordinance No. 89-33 has been <br />approved by the City council of the city of Ramsey as clearly <br />informing the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance: <br /> <br />It is the intent and effect of Ordinance No. 89-33 to define <br />certain categories wi thin the Rural Service Area in order to <br />implement "4 in 40 acre" zoning. <br /> <br />The Ordinance assures that lawful existing uses shall be <br />designated as conforming uses in the districts where development <br />densities change. <br /> <br />The Ordinance amends minimum lot sizes to 2.5 acres in the <br />Rural Transition District, 5 acres in the Mississippi River <br />critical Rivers District and 10 acres in the Rural and Urban <br />Reserve Districts all with a maximum density of 4 dwelling units <br />per 40 acres on a pro rata. <br /> <br />The Ordinance further defines development eligibili ty of <br />parcels as of January 1, 1990 and outlines Development Limitations. <br /> <br />A printed copy of Ordinance No. 89- 33 is available for <br />inspection by any person at the City Municipal Center. <br /> <br />This ordinance becomes effective upon its passage and thirty <br />(30) days after publication according to law, subject to City <br />Chapter provision, Section 5.04. <br /> <br /> <br />Passed by the City Council of the <br />the ----1.2.;hday of December , 1989 o' <br /> <br />Minnesota, <br /> <br />'"'" <br /> <br />Introduction Date: November 28. 1989 <br />Posting Dates: November 28 - December 19. 1989 <br />Adoption Date: December 19. 1989 <br />Publication Date: December 29. 1989 <br />.Effective Date: January 29. 1990 <br />
