Norris have met \ldth Metro Council to <br />discuss the expansion of Ramsey's year 2000 Urban Service Area. Met <br />Council indicated that Rarr.sey would have to initiate an amendment to it's <br />Comprehensive Plan. Met Council also indicated that Ramsey would have to <br />resolve it's rural density issues by setting a future date, possibly late <br />1989, when the one lot per 10 acres would be effective and enforced. <br /> <br />Council consensus was that Staff proceed with an amendment for the <br />preliminary eA-paIlsion of the year 2000 Urban Service Area and negotiate for <br />a date beyond late 1989 for er~orcing the 1 unit per 10 acre rural density <br />City Council/March 22, 1988 <br /> <br />Page 12 of 17 <br />
