<br />receives sewage from an individual establishment. <br /> <br />10. "Designated Low Lots" shall mean lots which because of <br />elevation were designated to receive sanitary sewer service by <br />means of an individual house lift pump unit. The address and <br />legal description of these designated lots shall be kept on file <br />at City Hall. <br /> <br />OPERATION~ RECORDS AND INSPECTION <br /> <br />1. The City shall provide for the proper operation and <br />maintenance of the municipal water system and the municipal <br />sanitary sewer system and shall see that all rules and <br />regulations pertaining to the same are complied with. <br /> <br />2. The City shall keep a careful and complete record of the <br />exact location and size of all parts of the municipal water and <br />sewer systems~ connections thereto~ and other measurements or <br />records which may be necessary. <br /> <br />3. The City shall superintend all connections for service, and <br />examine all service pipes and see that they are properly laid, <br />and that all meters are properly installed and operating. The <br />City also shall have charge of inspecting the premises entered by <br />service pipes, examining the condition.of all water and sewer <br />fixtures, and shall warn against all abuses of the municipal <br />water and sewer systems. <br /> <br />APPLICATIONS FOR SERVICE <br /> <br />1. Any property owner desiring to connect a dwelling, building, <br />or other structure to the municipal water or sanitary sewer <br />systems shall apply therefore on a form provided by the City. <br />Said form shall call for such information as the Council may from <br />time to time require. <br /> <br />2. The owner of any property which is not hooked up to the <br />municipal water system shall hook up said property prior to its <br />sale or other legal transfer of ownership. <br /> <br />3. The owner of all dwellings~ buildings~ other structures or <br />properties where cesspools or septic tanks have been in existence <br />prior to construction of a sanitary sewer shall connect with the <br />public sanitary sewer when such cesspools and septic tanks are in <br />need of repair, reconstruction or pumping, or within two (2) <br />years of the date that municipal sanitary sewer service is <br />available to the premises, whichever is first to occur. Any <br />property owner who can demonstrate that hookup to municipal sewer <br />is not feasible due to distance to topography or pending land use <br />change shall not be required to hookup. <br /> <br />4. Each applicant by such application shall subscribe to and be <br />obligated to be bound by all provisions of this ordinance, <br />amendments thereto and all rules and regulations established by <br />
