We have determin~d <br />that the proposed amendment presents a potential impact on the metropolitan <br />system plctns, specifically on the metropolitan sewer system. <br /> <br />The Council needs to review the city's proposed plan amendment to determine its <br />impact on the capacity of the Anoka Sewage Treatment Plant. <br /> <br />A proposed amendment that has a potential impact on metropolitan systems may <br />not be put into effect by the local government until the Council review is <br />complete. The law allows the Council 90 days from receipt of the proposed <br />amendment to complete its review. If the Council requires a modification to <br />the proposed amendment, the amendment may not be put into effect until the <br />Council has approved the modification. <br /> <br />The 90-day review period ends on July 17, 1989.
