A SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE 89-33 WHICH IS AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER <br />170.0 KNOWN AS THE PLANNING, SUBDIVIDING AND SIGNS CHAPTER. <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY ORDAINS: <br />The following official summary of Ordinance No. 89 -33 has been <br />approved by the City Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly <br />informing the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance: <br />It is the intent and effect of Ordinance No. 89 -33 to define <br />certain categories within the Rural Service Area in order to <br />implement "4 in 40 acre" zoning. <br />The Ordinance assures that lawful existing uses shall be <br />designated as conforming uses in the districts where development <br />densities change. <br />The Ordinance amends minimum lot sizes to 2.5 acres in the <br />Rural Transition District, 5 acres in the Mississippi River <br />Critical Rivers District and 10 acres in the Rural and Urban <br />Reserve Districts all with a maximum density of 4 dwelling units <br />per 40 acres on a pro rata. <br />The Ordinance further defines development eligibility of <br />parcels as of January 1, 1990 and outlines Development Limitations. <br />A printed copy of Ordinance No. 89-33 is available for <br />inspection by any person at the City Municipal.
