Until the plant phase out is completed, the MWCC is <br />monitoring sewer flow and the City is tracking actual <br />residential equivalent connections. Development proposals <br />are being phased to limit residential construction to comply <br />with the temporary flow limitations of 500 REC's. This <br />policy was adopted by Council Resolution 89 -06 -130. <br />45 <br />A concern in the 1989 MC review was that the City was not <br />diligently requiring connection to City sewer when it became <br />available within the urban area. Ordinance 89 -25 adopted <br />September 26, 1989 clearly defines when sewer becomes <br />available to a parcel. <br />Sanitary Sewer Plans <br />The City is currently reviewing and generating wastewater <br />flow projections through 2010. This will be incorporated <br />into the plan as a separate element upon completion. One of <br />the major considerations, however, is that Ramsey's <br />wastewater flow be monitored to more accurately determine <br />flow. <br />
