Presentation <br />The regular City Council meeting began with <br />a presentation honoring Mayor Mark Kuzma and <br />Councilmembers Howell, Musgrove and Woestehofffor <br />their dedicated service to the City of Ramsey. <br />Consent Agenda <br />There were 17 items on the Consent Agenda. The motion <br />passed with a unanimous vote. <br />Public Hearing <br />1) There was one Public Hearing to Adopt Resolution <br />#24-353 Adopting the City's 2025-2034 Capital <br />Improvement Plan (CIP). The Capital Improvement <br />Plan (CIP) is a long-term financial plan that consists <br />of projects and facilities that are, or will be needed <br />by the City in carrying out the future needs for the <br />public health, safety and welfare of the City. The City <br />is undertaking a 10-year plan for years 2025-2034. The <br />CIP has been prepared in an attempt to anticipate major <br />capital expenditures in advance of the year in which <br />they are budget requests. A motion was made to approve <br />Resolution #24-353, but the motion failed. A new <br />motion was made to approve Resolution #24-353 with <br />the removal of the Community Center. Cash donations can be dropped in the "Cash Can" <br />at the front desk in the lobby. Non-perishable food items, <br />new toys, books, and clothing items are also being collected <br />through December 16. For more information about Toys for <br />Joy, visit www.toysforjoymn.com. <br />Granny's Closet is a non-profit organization that has been <br />supporting seniors and adults with disabilities in Anoka and <br />Sherburne counties for over 25 years. They accept personal <br />care items, household cleaning supplies and kitchen items. <br />Their top needs are new household cleaning supplies and <br />adult -sized winter clothing.
