<br />Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #24-359 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING TRAIL AND SIDEWALK MAINTENANCE POLICY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council recognizes the importance of proactively <br />maintaining the City’s sidewalks and trails to cost-effectively preserve City infrastructure and <br />protect public health and safety, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey City staff prepared a draft Trail and Sidewalk Maintenance Policy, <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Attorney reviewed the draft Stormwater Management Facilities <br />Maintenance Policy and approved it as to legal form; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee reviewed the draft Trail and Sidewalk <br />Maintenance Policy and recommends approval of said Policy. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the Trail and Sidewalk Maintenance Policy <br />dated December 10, 2024. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Howell, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> <br />
