University of Minnesota <br /> <br />REGISTRA TION <br />Landscape Architect, Minnesota <br /> <br />MEMBERSHIPS AND AFFILIATIONS <br />Minnesota Design Team - <br />Steering Committee Member and Past Chair <br />Team Leader on Seven Visits <br />Team Member on Eleven Visits <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE <br />MICHAEL SCHROEDER is a Landscape Architect with eleven years <br />of experience on a wide range of projects, including community and <br />urban design studies, streetscapes, master planning, site planning and <br />site design, recreation design, and landscape design. Past work includes <br />projects in the public and private sectors throughout the mid west. <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder was previously a landscape architect with several firms, <br />including BRW, Inc., Ernst Associates, and Martin and Pitz Associates, <br />Inc. He has presented workshops and lectures on "grass roots" planning <br />and design, citizen participation in the community design and <br />development process, leadership development, and sustainable design. <br />He is a frequent lecturer and speaker for the Minnesota Landscape <br />Arboretum and the Minnesota State Horticulture Society. <br /> <br />As a volunteer with the Minnesota Design Team, Mr. Schroeder has <br />served as team leader and team member on over a dozen community <br />visits, and as treasurer and Chair of the organization. He served as <br />project coordinator for the development of the Design Team's <br />Community Manual (used by communities as they prepare for the <br />MDT's community-based design process) which received a merit <br />award from the American Society of Landscape Architects in 1992. <br /> <br />REPRESENTA TIVE PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />· H.B.
