I I I I 'I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I 7.0 Seek Approvals The purpose of this task will be obtain approvals of the Draft Comprehensive Plan and the revised Shore land and Critical River Area Ordinances from the City and the Metropolitan Council. Subtasks will include the following: 7.1 Review of the plan and ordinances informally with the Planning Commission, the City Council and the Parks and Recreation Commission. Two meetings are anticipated to review the draft plan. 7.2 The conduct of the formal Planning Commission public hearing in accordance with State Statutes to allow for public review and comment on the draft plan and ordinances. One formal public hearing is anticipated to allow proper review of the draft plan and ordinances by the public. 7.3 Review of the Draft Comprehensive Plan with Metropolitan Council Staff (optional). 7.4 The preparation of revisions to the Comprehensive Plan draft based on public hearing input and Metropolitan Council input. 7.5 Meeting with Staff. One meeting estimated. 8.0 Finalize the Plan and Ordinances Upon completion of the public hearing process, a recommendation by the Planning Commission, adoption by the City Council, and acceptance by the Metropolitan Council, the final Comprehensive Plan will be completed. The consultant will print a selected number of copies in a quantity and at a price to be negotiated with the City. The plan will be prepared in color. An optional service could include a Comprehensive Plan summary which could be distributed to all residents and businesspersons in the City of Ramsey.
