Twenty-four percent <br />selected "protection of individual property rights," while twenty-two percent similarly regarded <br />"traffic flow and congestion." Nineteen percent pointed to "property taxes," while sixteen <br />percent felt similarly about "density of population." <br /> <br />"Density of population" was key to owners of under $ i 00,000 homes. "Protection of individual <br />property rights" was selected most often by households not connected to public sanitary sewer <br />and water services and residents of Precinct lA. "Traffic flow and congestion" was picked most <br />frequently by owners of over $125,000 homes, households connected to public sanitary sewer <br />and water services, residents of Precinct IB, and residents of Precinct Two. "Protection of the <br />rural character of the area" was most important to households not connected to public sanitary <br />sewer and water services. "A new Mississippi River bridge crossing" was. picked by over twenty <br />year residents. "Property taxes" mattered most to less than five year residents and residents of <br />Precinct 3B. "Parks and recreational offerings" was chosen most frequently by less than five <br />year residents, households containing children, 18-34 year oIds, households connected to public <br />sanitary sewer and water services, and women. "Youth facilities and activities" was a favorite of <br />five-to-twenty year residents, households containing children, owners of under $100,000 homes, <br />and residents of Precinct 3B.
