e ECONOMIC ACTIVITY e Employment Trends Until recently, Ramsey did not have an abundant supply of employment opportunities. However, since 1995 the City has added nearly 1,000 jobs to its employment base with development of the ABC Industrial Park and Business Park 95. Based on available information Ramsey's employment base appears to be primarily manufacturing related. 1990 Census information indicates that of the available labor force in Ramsey, 82.5% are actively working. This compares to the state percentage of 69.7% and Anoka County percentage of 79.3%.
