Heritage Millwork is currently in the process of constructing a 28, 719 square <br />foot expansion to their facility and have requested assistance. The financial assistance would be <br />in the form of an addendum to their 1996 development agreement. The development agreement <br />addendum for this project allows for the contribution of $4,100 of the tax increment proceeds of <br />the addition to be utilized by Heritage Millwork. He noted that the $4,100 is the amount <br />Heritage Millwork paid in 1996, for the additional land needed for the proposed addition. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Connolly, to authorize the <br />execution of the addendum to the development agreement with Julian M. Johnson, d.b.a. <br />Heritage Millwork, contingent upon review by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Connolly, <br />Anderson, and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance Amending Permitted Uses in R-l Rural Residential Zoning <br />Districts <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated that on November 9, 1999, City Council introduced the <br />ordinance amending Chapter 9 of the City Code to allow fire stations in the R* 1 Rural <br />Residential Districts. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Connolly, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to adopt <br />Ordinance #99-19 amending Chapter 9 of the City Code to allow a fire station in the R-1 Rural <br />Residential Districts. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the recording secretary: <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen aye <br />Councilmember Anderson aye <br />Councilmember Connolly aye <br />Councilmember Zimmerman aye <br />Mayor Gamec aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />. ~ ,'~ - ,- '~~;~~3-'J~-7J -~~~~. ~ <~~i <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated that the City Council held a work session to discuss the <br />Comprehensive Plan on November 17, 1999. Staff received direction to make changes for <br />Council consideration.
