R -98 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION A1\1ENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN OF THE <br />CITY OF ANDOVER TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DISTRICT DESIGNATION <br />FROM I, INDUSTRY TO C, COMMERCIAL FORA1'lDOVER STATION LOCATED <br />IN THE SOUTH HALF OF SECTION 34 BY THE CITY OF ANDOVER. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City of Andover has petitioned for an amendment to the Andover <br />Comprehensive Land Use Plan to change the land use district designation from 1, Industry <br />toJ:, Commercial at Andover Station generally located south of Bunker Lake Blvd., <br />between Thrush Street and Jay Street, legally described as follows: <br /> <br />The following land located in the Section 34, Township 32, Range 24, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota: <br /> <br />The Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, together with the Northeast <br />Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, together with the Northeast Quarter of the <br />Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission finds the request would not have a <br />detrimental effect upon the health, safety, and general welfare of the City of Andover; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommends to the City Council <br />approval of the amendment as requested. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Andover <br />hereby agrees with the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission and <br />approves said amendment to the Comprehensive Land Use Plan with the following <br />condition: <br /> <br />1.
