This expansion will include a total of 44 gross <br />acres. The areas included in the new Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA) are the western <br />half of the Rivenwick Addition, the northwest corner of the Wood Pond Hills Addition and the <br />properties along Sunfish Lake Boulevard N.W. to Waltek, Inc. <br /> <br />All of these areas were included in the second half of the conditionally approved expansion in <br />1989. The following timetable will be used by the Metropolitan Council regarding approval of the <br />amendment: <br /> <br />1) Within ten (10) days a preliminary review will be completed. <br /> <br />2) Metropolitan Council will issue a no potential system impact statement of a potential <br />system impact statement. <br /> <br />3) If a no potential system impact statement is issued, the City may implement the <br />changes and receive approval after the sixty (60) day waiting period. <br /> <br />4) If a potential system impact statement is issued, then the City must wait ninety (90) <br />days for final review and approval. If no action is taken within the ninety (90) day <br />period, the amendment is approved by default. <br /> <br />The City should receive notice by September 8, 1992 as to Metropolitan Council's <br />preliminary findings. <br /> <br />leer <br />
