<br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DA1E: <br />10: <br /> <br />August 24, 1992 <br /> <br />FROM: <br />RE: <br /> <br />Ryan Schroeder, City Administrator <br />Sylvia Frolik, Zoning Administrator <br />Steven Jankowski, City Engineer <br />City Council <br /> <br />James Gromberg, Project Manag~ <br /> <br />Minor Comprehensive Plan Amendment <br /> <br />Attached for your review is a Minor Comprehensive Plan Amendment that has been submitted to <br />the Metropolitan Council for review and approval. This expansion will include a total of 44 gross <br />acres. The areas included in the new Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA) are the western <br />half of the Rivenwick Addition, the northwest corner of the Wood Pond Hills Addition and the <br />properties along Sunfish Lake Boulevard N.W. to Waltek, Inc. <br /> <br />All of these areas were included in the second half of the conditionally approved expansion in <br />1989. The following timetable will be used by the Metropolitan Council regarding approval of the <br />amendment: <br /> <br />1) Within ten (10) days a preliminary review will be completed. <br /> <br />2) Metropolitan Council will issue a no potential system impact statement of a potential <br />system impact statement. <br /> <br />3) If a no potential system impact statement is issued, the City may implement the <br />changes and receive approval after the sixty (60) day waiting period. <br /> <br />4) If a potential system impact statement is issued, then the City must wait ninety (90) <br />days for final review and approval. If no action is taken within the ninety (90) day <br />period, the amendment is approved by default. <br /> <br />The City should receive notice by September 8, 1992 as to Metropolitan Council's <br />preliminary findings. <br /> <br />leer <br />
