<br />The March 2001 Draft Comprehensive Plan proposes to include the subject property in the <br />MUSA expansion area in order to complete the River Pines subdivisions. The fact that 158th <br />Lane in River Pines 2nd Addition dead ends on the west boundary of the subject property is <br />problematic. <br /> <br />As the March 2001 Draft of the Comprehensive Plan has not been adopted at this time, an <br />amendment to the 1995 version of the Plan is required to facilitate the development of River <br />Pines 5th Addition. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends approval of the Comprehensive Plan Amendment. <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to recommend that the City Council adopt the resolution authorizing staff to submit the <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment to Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />-or- <br /> <br />Motion to recommend that the City Council deny the request for a Comprehensive Plan <br />Amendment from Jacob Barthold and Oakwood Land Development, Inc. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />Principal Planner <br />Community Development Assistant <br /> <br />Copies to: <br />City Administrator <br />City Attorney <br /> <br />pc: 09/04/01 <br />
