<br />~ Metropolitan Council <br /> <br />April 20, 2005 <br /> <br />Amy Geisler, Associate Planner <br />City of Ramsey <br />15153 Nowthen Boulevard <br />Ramsey, MN 55303-6140 <br /> <br />RE: City of Ramsey Comprehensive Plan Amendment <br />Brookfield Addition <br />Metropolitan Council Review File No. 18160-19 <br />Metropolitan Council District 9 <br /> <br />Dear Ms. Geisler: <br /> <br />The Metropolitan Council received the City's comprehensive plan amendment on April 7, 2005. <br />The amendment includes a land use change from Rural Developing to Low Density Residential on <br />a l56-acre property, and a metropolitan urban service area (MUSA) expansion to include the <br />property. The proposed development is approximately 235 residential units. <br /> <br />The Council staff finds the proposed amendment complete for formal review. Under Minnesota <br />Laws 1995, Chapter 248, Article 18, the Council has 60 calendar days to review the plan <br />amendment. The 60-day deadline ends on June 6, 2005. <br /> <br />The Council staff will prepare a report summarizing the staff s review of the amendment, and will <br />forward it to the Community Development Committee and to the full Council for action.
