<br />Public Opinion <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />comprehensive analysis could identify other types of pollution as well as investigate <br />connections between land-use and pollution. <br /> <br />Trott Brook as a county ditch <br /> <br />Trott Brook is listed as Anoka County Ditch #51, and was established in 1903. <br />The ditch starts just west of the Anoka County line and runs easterly to just east of <br />Nowthen Boulevard, east of the North/South quarter line. The county rules for. <br />limitations of County Ditches can be specified according to the parcel of land that abuts <br />the ditch. However, there is one general limitation that any subsequent uses should not <br />interfere with the primary concern of the ditch function. <br /> <br />Introduction <br /> <br />In order to assess community opinion about potential trail development plans <br />along Trott Brook, research of public attitudes and opinions was conducted as part of this <br />study. Information was gathered through the use of informal surveys, newspaper scans, <br />and discussions with local business people. <br /> <br />Current Uses of Trott Brook <br /> <br />A simple informal survey was used to gather data on the actual usage of the Itasca <br />Trail on Trott Brook. A questionnaire was used to evaluate public opinion on current and <br />potential uses of the trail (questionnaire included in the Appendix). Nineteen people <br />responded to the survey. <br /> <br />14 <br />
