-242— <br />Staff is recommending approval of the comprehensive plan amendment to Medium Density <br />Residential for the remainder of the parcels (unplatted) because: 1) that plat, as revised, allows <br />the City to acquire some land for the re- alignment of Alpine Drive; 2) the northern portion of the <br />site is buffered well by wetland, park, and proposed bungalow homes; and 3) medium density is a <br />compatible land use in the northern area of the proposed development. <br />Council Action: <br />Motion to adopt Resolution #06 -09- approving /denying the request and authorize staff to <br />submit the Comprehensive Plan Amendment to Metropolitan Council for the three northern <br />unplatted parcels, as the revised site plan indicates, contingent upon compliance with the Staff <br />Review Letter dated June 30, 2006, revised September 22, 2006 <br />Reviewed by: <br />Community Development Director <br />Asst.
