<br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-10-_ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #_ TO REZONE CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY FROM E-1 EMPLOYMENT TO PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance <br />with Section 9.03.03 (Zoning Amendments) and 9.20.31 (Planned Unit Development) of the <br />Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE ITRESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY,STATEOFMINNESOTA, a.s follows: <br /> <br />1. That Saint Andrews Investment Group, LLC, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant," has <br />properly applied to rezone certain property from E-l, Employment to Planned Unit <br />Development (PUD). <br /> <br />2. That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 2.03.03 of <br />the City Code on October 5, 2006 and said public hearing was properly advertised, and the <br />minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />J. That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Outlot A and Lot 2, Block 1, West Ramsey Industrial Park <br /> <br />4. That the total area of the property to be rezoned is approximately 11 acres in size. <br /> <br />5. That the proposed rezoning is located within the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA) <br />. boundary, but municipal sewer and water are not available to the site. <br /> <br />6. That the Subject Property is currently zoned E-l Employment and the surrounding adjacent <br />properties are zoned E-l, Employment and B-2, Business District. <br /> <br />7. That the Applicant is proposing to plat 15 separate parcels, each about 8,000 square feet in <br />SIze. <br /> <br />8. That the development is proposing to deviate from City Ordinances by developing 15 lots <br />that are under 1 acre in size. <br /> <br />9. That the Applicant is/is not proposing a high quality of design and design compatible with <br />surrounding land uses, both existing and planned. <br /> <br />53 <br />
