4fa HE2s
www.ae2s.com
Summary
Based on the items noted above, AE2S feels that the construction of the water treatment plant is progressing
well and is not likely to require additional funding to cover change orders beyond what is already reserved
in the construction allowances. AE2S is working hard to manage our construction services phase budget.
Over the last six months, AE2S invoices to the City have averaged $31,000 per month. At that current burn
rate, we expect to run out of budget by August. This will likely leave us short on budget to provide the
necessary start up assistance at the new Substantial Completion date of July 28, 2025. A meeting between
AE2S and the City will need to occur before then to discuss either reducing our efforts on -site or amending
our fee to ensure that we have enough budget to bring this project to completion.
