Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:
<br />RESOLUTION #25-018
<br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FOX RIDGE ESTATES
<br />1ST & 2ND STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #24-13
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the Fox Ridge Estates
<br />1 St & 2nd subdivision as identified within the 2024 — 2033 10-Year Capital Improvement Program; and
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-130, adopted June 13, 2023, the
<br />City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton & Menk, Inc., for topographic survey of the
<br />project area; and
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-129, adopted June 27, 2023, the
<br />City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Independent Testing Technologies, Inc. for geotechnical
<br />evaluations of the project area; and
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-253, adopted October 10, 2023, the
<br />City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Hydro-Klean, LLC, for cleaning and televising of storm
<br />sewer pipes within the project area; and
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-126, adopted May 14, 2024, the
<br />City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for Fox Ridge Estates 1st & 2nd
<br />Street Reconstruction, Improvement Project #24-13; and
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-296, adopted November 12, 2024,
<br />the City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer and authorized
<br />advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and
<br />WHEREAS, proposals were received for Construction Staking and As -built Survey of $52,844.00
<br />from Bolton & Menk, Inc. for said improvements; and
<br />WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald on Friday December 13 and Friday
<br />December 20, 2024; and
<br />WHEREAS, ten (10) bids were received, opened and tabulated on January 13, 2025, and the
<br />following bids were found to comply with the approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids;

<br />WHEREAS, the bid of Douglas -Kerr Underground, LLC in the amount of $2,099,737.06 for the
<br />
